Export Sales Manager

We are looking for a driven Export Sales Manager, who will become a member of our Hardware Europe & Export Commercial Team, to ensure profitable growth across key markets by managing and expanding a portfolio of master distributors and partners. The immediate and long-term goals include business revenue, profit, and market share goals as they relate to the Group’s overall strategy.

The ideal candidate will achieve this by acting as a trusted business advisor, reinforcing long-term business relationships, and cultivating new ones thus maximising sales opportunities on pre-defined markets where Hultafors Group does not have own sales offices, predominantly Europe, Asia & Middle East. Location can be discussed, but preferably close to our offices in Hultafors (close to Gothenburg) or Mörby, Stockholm. Extensive international travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve defined objectives regarding increased sales growth, profit, cash flow and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for P&L within the Sales Region including sales -, marketing – and cost budget and margin requirements.
  • Responsible for implementing approved pricing strategies in the markets.
  • Set road map for and activate new markets / distributors in alignment with your management.

Previous Experience

  • +5 years of relevant experience in Export Manager roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business related or technical discipline.
  • Experience from working with premium products in companies of similar size and complexity.
  • Familiar with long sales cycles and your experience is from the construction or service and management industry.
  • A good general computer knowledge and excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint is expected.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written) as well as in another language.
  • Strong (international) sales track record in retail and end-user sales (B2B and B2C) as well as a documented experience from generating new B2B customers.
  • Experience of developing markets and new business segments is a plus as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced and international environment.

You have proven skills in leadership & negotiating (contracts) as well as strong operational capability – leading by example meaning willingness and ability to work high and low, operationally, and strategically. You are proactive and sales driven and have strong business acumen, with a strategic ability and the drive to achieve tough objectives. You have a strong customer focus and are a confident presenter.
